What the tool does

Photo Text Editor lets you change, remove or add text in images on phototexteditor.org.

You can correct a typo in a graphic, add a caption or hide private details in a screenshot. Only edit images you own or have permission to use.

Free tools in your browser

With the free tools, you can cover existing text with a nearby color and type new text in the font, size and color you choose.

You can also add text, blur or pixelate part of a screenshot, and remove text from simple backgrounds such as solid colors or gradients. These tools work on your device without uploading your images or asking you to sign in. Downloads are PNG files without a watermark.

AI editing

AI tools can replace text while trying to keep the original style and background, remove text from complex backgrounds, or translate text and put it back into the image. You need to sign in, and your image goes to our servers to generate a result. Review the result before using it.

After signing in, you get free AI edits each day with watermarked previews. Paid editing uses one-time credit packs. We do not sell subscriptions. Buying any pack unlocks high-resolution downloads without a watermark, including the image you already previewed without charging another edit. Waffo Pancake processes payments. You must be at least 18 years old to buy a pack. You can request a full refund within 7 days if you have not used any credits from that pack. Failed AI edits return the allowance or credits automatically. Read the Refund Policy for details.
