Who this policy covers

This policy explains how Photo Text Editor handles information when you use our website (phototexteditor.org). Contact support@phototexteditor.org with privacy questions.

Free tools and your images

The free tools process your images in your browser. You do not need an account.

These tools cover replacing text with a color patch and new text, adding text, blurring or pixelating screenshots, and removing text from simple backgrounds. Your images stay on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. Free tool downloads are PNG files without a watermark.

AI editing and your images

You need to sign in for AI text replacement, text removal or image translation.

When you submit an AI edit, your image and editing instructions go to our servers to generate a result. The local processing described above does not apply to AI edits. Avoid submitting images with personal information you do not have permission to share.

After signing in, you get free AI edits each day. These results are previews with a watermark. See the pricing page for the current allowance and credit packs.

Account, purchase and support information

We use your account information to support sign-in and keep track of AI usage and credits. We use purchase records to connect a credit pack to your account and handle refund requests. If you email us, we use your email address and message to answer your request.

Paid editing uses one-time credit packs. We do not sell subscriptions. Waffo Pancake processes payments through its checkout and receives the payment information you enter there. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a pack.

Use, storage and sharing

We process AI images and instructions on our servers to generate the requested edits. We use account and purchase records to manage access, credits, support and refunds. Browser-only edits do not send your images to that server storage.

Payment information you enter at checkout goes to Waffo for processing. For questions about storage, retention or who receives information from an AI edit, contact support@phototexteditor.org before uploading sensitive material.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies that are needed for sign-in and to remember your language and privacy choices.

We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to measure visits and how the site is used. Visitors in regions where consent is required see a banner first, and analytics only runs if they accept.

We also use self-hosted analytics with first-party cookies solely to count visits and identify invalid traffic, never for ads. You can refuse analytics in Cookie settings.

With your analytics cookie choice, we record the website or campaign link you first arrived from, the landing page path and visit time in a first-party cookie for up to 90 days, and associate this information with your account and orders to understand acquisition channels, not for advertising; it is not sent to third parties, and you can refuse or withdraw this recording in Cookie settings.

Requests about your data

Depending on the law where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, or object to its use.

To make a request about your data, email support@phototexteditor.org.

Use the email address associated with your account so we can identify the relevant records. Do not send your password or payment card details. You can also ask to close your account. Some purchase records may need to be kept where the law requires it.
