Using the service

These terms apply to Photo Text Editor at phototexteditor.org. By using the service, you agree to these terms and the Acceptable Use Policy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old to buy credits. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to agree on its behalf.

What the tools do

Photo Text Editor lets you edit text in uploaded images.

The free tools work in your browser without an account. You can cover text with a nearby color and type new text, add text, blur or pixelate screenshots, and remove text from simple backgrounds. These tools process images on your device without uploading them. You can download a PNG without a watermark.

AI text replacement, text removal and image translation require sign-in. Your image and instructions go to our servers to generate a result. Signed-in users get free AI edits each day, with a watermark on the previews. See the pricing page for the current allowance.

Your account

Keep your account information accurate and your login details private. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify support@phototexteditor.org if you suspect someone has used it without permission.

Credit packs and payment

Paid AI editing uses one-time credit packs. We do not sell subscriptions. Packs do not renew automatically.

Check the pricing page for current pack details and prices before buying.

By completing checkout, you authorize the one-time payment shown there. Waffo Pancake processes the payment. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase.

Buying any pack unlocks high-resolution downloads without a watermark. It also unlocks the image you already previewed without charging another edit.

Refunds and cancellation

You can request a full refund within 7 days of purchase if you have not used any credits from that pack. Once you use credits from a pack, it no longer qualifies for this unused-pack refund. If an AI edit fails, the edit allowance or credits it used are returned automatically.

To request a refund, email support@phototexteditor.org with the email address used for the order.

See the Refund Policy for the full rules. There is no recurring plan to cancel. To close your account, contact the same support address. Closing an account does not itself request a refund. These rules do not limit rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Your images and results

Only upload images you own or have permission to edit. You must also have permission to use any personal information in them. You allow Photo Text Editor to process images and instructions you submit for AI editing to provide the requested result.

Editing an image or buying credits does not give you rights to someone else's work, identity or personal information. You are responsible for having the rights needed to use and share the result.

Acceptable use

Do not use the tools to deceive people with altered identity documents, receipts, invoices, contracts or screenshots presented as evidence. Do not impersonate others, infringe their rights or use edited images for fraud. The Acceptable Use Policy gives the rules for uploads, editing and sharing results.

Service limits

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." AI results can contain errors or fail to match the original text style or background. Review the result before using or sharing it.

To the extent permitted by law, Photo Text Editor is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. This does not exclude rights or remedies that the law does not allow us to exclude.

Breaches, notice and appeals

If you break these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, we may suspend or close your account and revoke unused credits. These consequences also apply to fraudulent use of the service.

Before taking these actions, we will email you with the reason, the proposed action and how to appeal. You can appeal by emailing support@phototexteditor.org with your account email and an explanation of why you believe the decision is wrong. We will review your appeal and email you the outcome. Mandatory consumer rights still apply.

Changes and questions

If we make material changes to these terms, we will notify you before they take effect and post the updated terms here.
